What is the Deaf Christian Ministries Foundation Fund?
Our Mission:
The Deaf Christian Ministries Foundation of the Midwest (DCMFM) exists to support
and encourage evangelism of DEAF people and their families through Deaf
evangelists and Deaf Christian events.
Our Method:
Grant based support will be offered to qualified evangelists seeking to work
full time doing God’s work among the DEAF. Preferred evangelists will be Deaf
men who have graduated from Sunset International Bible Institute in Lubbock,
Texas, the National Bible Institute for the Deaf in Birmingham, Alabama or
similarly affiliated college programs. Applicants must be competent in Bible
knowledge with good communication skills through American Sign Language.
Grant based support will extend to Deaf Christian events. These could include,
but are not limited to, Christian retreats, workshops, mission trips, and events
led by a Deaf Christian evangelist or a Deaf ministry of a Church of Christ.
Our Ministry:
The Foundation’s Board of Directors seeks to build a solid financial foundation for
future operations and expansions as opportunities arise. The Board is committed
to accomplish competent oversight of this Kingdom work, prayerfully and
prudently evaluating and selecting opportunities to fulfill the Mission. The
generosity of Foundation donors will be managed responsibly and respectfully.
The DCMFM is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization funded solely by tax deductible
donations to accomplish the Mission.
